Seeing Souls Saved
Welcome home
Monterey Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers who pursue the God who is passionately pursuing a lost world; we do this with one another, through worship, by the Word, to the world.
Sunday Morning Service

To trust in the work of Jesus Christ means we trust in what He has done to save us. Jesus Christ gave himself as a ransom for all people, and all who believe in Him will be made righteous.
Christ’s death paid the penalty for our sins, and His resurrection conquered death.
As we focus on the SYNONYMS of JESUS, the question to ask about each one is, "do you possess them for yourself"?
That is our focus this Sunday morning @ 11am!
Sunday Evening Service
The word “exodus” means exit. In God’s timing, the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt marked the end of a period of oppression for Abraham’s descendants, and the beginning of the fulfillment of the covenant promise to Abraham that his descendants would not only live in the Promised Land, but would also multiply and become a great nation.
This week we seek to better understand and appreciate the great "I AM."

Wednesday Evening
Unlike the three Synoptic Gospels, John’s purpose is not to present a chronological narrative of the life of Christ but to display His deity.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John sought to strengthen the faith of second-generation believers and bring about faith in others, but he also sought to correct a false teaching that was spreading in the first century.
Join us as we study this amazing inspired writing, verse by verse.
